January - December 2027 Natural Materials In Practice
Plant, Mineral, Animal
For Natural Colour & Art Materials
3 Year Long Learning Communities - Starting in January 2027
Which natural materials are integral to your creative practice, and how do their material qualities shape your work?
Join one, two, or three learning communities of artists and practitioners sharing their explorations of working with plant, mineral, or animal based materials for making natural colour, art materials and decorative work.
Each group will gather for 12 monthly sessions. Each session includes a guest artist deep diving in to their practice with a particular natural material.
Following each talk, there will be open space for emergent discussion and conversation. Members are invited to share questions, explorations, and work in process or completed, offering feedback and responses to each-other’s work. This is supported by ongoing conversation and photo sharing online.
Welcoming members at all stages of learning, from experienced makers to beginners.
